Dear Friends of Windsong,
Windsong Christian Music Ministries, Inc. is a non-stock, not-for-profit Christian organization. The group started in the UP College of Music 22 years ago. We are involved in evangelism through music and in the equipping ministry to the church worship ministers. Our vision is to see “The Body of Christ passionately glorifying God in true worship through life-changing music.”As part of our commitment to equip the worship ministers of the Church, Windsong has organized a series of seminars geared specifically for them. The event is called “Musaic – Merging The Ministries of Many”. The Worship Ministry/Music Ministry is one of the most diverse ministries of the Church. Not only does it involve different sub-departments, but it is composed of multi-talented and multi-gifted people doing multi-tasking. The challenge always is putting these diverse elements to work together for a unified purpose (mindset) - to glorify God with everything we have and in everything we are - and for a unified whole (results) - a worship ministry.
Our objectives are:
1) to inspire the Worship Ministers to pursue excellence and passion as taught by the Word of God and as modelled by the seminar speakers & guest ministers,
2) to challenge the worship ministers to pursue a life of holiness, and
3) to equip them with skills they will need in order to maximize the potential of the ministry God entrusted to them as they work together.
Three main groups of people have been targeted for these seminars: the worship ministry leaders, the worship singers, and the worship bands. These people will be coming primarily from Metro Manila and surrounding southern provinces (Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Quezon, etc). We are praying for at least 150 participants representing at least 50 churches.
We are inviting the Worship Ministers of your church to participate in these seminars beginning September 15 to October 20, Saturdays at Christ's Commission Fellowship-Alabang, Muntinlupa City. In doing so, they will receive instruction and inspiration from some of the best Christian resource speakers, teachers and performing ministers in the Philippines. They will also get to network with other church worship ministers representing many churches. For this year's Musaic, we are offering 3 Tracks:
The Worship Ministry Leaders Track (Sept15 & 22)
The Worship Singers Track (Sept29 & Oct06)
The Worship Band Track (Oct13 & 20)
Each Track will run for two (2) Saturdays, 9am-6pm and will cost P600.00/Track/person if they register & pay on or before September 05. Some of the featured speakers & teachers are Francis Kong (The Leader God Meant You to Be), Efren Pallorina (Managing Conflicts), Mel Villena (Band Arranging), Rolly Quizon (Drums), Rommel Guevarra (The Band In Worship), Jeanne Vicars (Voice), JuliAnne Tarroja (featured artist) and many more.
